The 2010 Suburban's rearview camera system includes a built-in camera mounted near the license plate. When you shift into reverse, an image from the camera is displayed in a portion of the rearview mirror (so you can still use the mirror). The mirror reverts to a normal full-frame reflection when you shift into Drive or Park.

For complete control of its massive power, the 2010 Suburban features a heavy-duty 6-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. The smooth-shifting transmission comes with overdrive Tow/Haul modes, a Driver Shift Control, and offers improved fuel efficiency.
